My name is Karina, and I'm a music teacher with over 17 years of professional teaching experience. I discovered my love of music while watching Raffi videos as a young child and began taking piano lessons at the age of six. Just two years later, I started studying voice and found my love of singing as well. From that point on, I joined every ensemble and tried every instrument I could fit into my schedule. By the time I was 10 years old, I was already acting as a student leader for my church choir and music school, and my love of teaching was unlocked. I started teaching full-time in 2007 after completing my music studies at Wilfred Laurier University. In addition to teaching, I have performed both on stage, and as Music Director for numerous theatre productions and concerts, directed and accompanied multiple choirs, and served as Music Director at many churches.

Beginning this summer, I am offering private voice and piano lessons for students of all ages, and ukulele lessons for kids from my new location in central Grimsby.
