Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled 3D Visual FX Artist focused on product visualization to join our creative team. The 3D VisualFX Artist position will be responsible for supporting the team in the design of virtual environments and the creation of stunning animations. This role transforms ideas, drawings and sketches of proposed designs into spectacular 3D photorealistic renderings. As a 3D Visual FX Artist, you will be instrumental in the conception and creation of virtual environments and product models that are in line with our design and creative goals.
The 3D Visual FX Artist will be responsible for contributing to the sophisticated and contemporary creativity of the team. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating innovative product visualizing environments that exceed our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design highly realistic visual FX simulations for multimedia presentations, forced perspective animation renderings, including advanced 3D modeling, and animation of client environments, interiors, and cityscapes,
• Participate in think tank sessions where the design team conceptualizes immersive client brand experiences and how to most effectively visually communicate these ideas to other teams and our clients.
• Work with the project managers and the client to understand the goals, objectives, and requirements of the project.
• Ensure that the visualizations are in line with the design vision and the timeline of the project.
• Ability to conceptualize and interpret client requirements in previz motion studies.
• Work with the Creative Director to ensure artistic style, quality and continuity are consistent with the client's vision and standards. Must be able to understand, present, and help develop product visualization designs using photo-quality renderings, animations, and computer graphics.
• Knowledge of photorealistic lighting, materials, and compositing is necessary.
• Must be able to communicate in an effective and professional manner with members of the company as well as with clients.
• Must be able to handle sensitive company and client information with the highest level of confidentiality.
• Experience with procedural workflows is a plus. (i.e. Houdini, Blender)
• InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Houdini, Blender, Unreal Engine, Omniverse; Vray, Corona, iRay, Octane, Redshift Experience and/or proficiency in the following applications and other required software.
• Contribute to the research and development of new and creative ideas and procedures.
• Willingness to teach and collaborate with other VFX artists.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in motion graphics design in an in-house or design studio environment.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates current work in the marketplace. Student portfolios and spec work will not be considered for this position.
• Must have an aptitude for product visualization as well as a solid understanding of best practices in simulation.
