I am an experienced certified Support Service Worker/Occupational/Physiotherapy Assistant . I have been in the healthcare industry for over 35 years. I retired early in 2021 to realize that retirement was not for me. I continued working with clients privately in their own homes which I find extremely gratifying. I come with an extensive array of experiences and skills, some of which I include in the following: I am Passionate about helping people with excellent customer service skills and ability to adapt care to meet changing needs I provide personal care assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting I collaborate with care teams, if required, to deliver high quality, client-centered care aligned with client preferences. I engage clients with companionship and recreational activities to lift their spirits and improve wellbeing. I assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and changing linens to maintain tidy living spaces. I have keen observation skills to monitor client status and report any changes to those required. I maintain detailed records on services provided and client health status per protocols. I take responsibility for proper use and care of equipment and client personal belongings. I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for you or your family member, and I will strive to ensure that their needs are met.
