It works EXCELLENT!

THIS A/C is the largest you can get that plugs into a regular socket.
My open concept home faces south with no trees or buildings for shade, so I knew I needed the biggest BTU available, and this one was perfect!

Only used one summer, so plenty of freon giving many more years use of this unit.

Freon is what does the cooling.
An OLD A/C will have very little freon left which means you might get a month or two of use and then it won't work.

SIZE MATTERS!
A too-small “BTU” will run constantly as it tries to cool a room too large.
It will use a lot of electricity and deplete the freon quicker! (The seller, or YOU, will shorten it's “freon” life this way, fast!)
Meaning you'll see plenty of A/C's for real cheap but you'll be looking for a new one again very soon!

Too large “BTU" for a small room will only run for a minute or two then shut off. Your room will never get cool!!
IE: I once bought a portable 1350 BTU for my small bedroom. It never cooled under 18 celcius! My small bedroom needs an 8000 BTU only. Too large will NOT cool the room as you might think! (Do some research and see!)

This one weighs about 80 lbs, which is the ONLY reason I am selling.
I need a portable A/C as I am a senior, and unable to install this one by myself.
Last year I hired a handyman to install, he charged me $50. Then I paid another $50. to remove for the winter. I cannot keep doing that!
