Executive Chef - Thai Cuisine

Job Description:
As an Executive Chef at Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant, you will lead our culinary team in crafting authentic Thai dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, food preparation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the culinary team to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Develop innovative and authentic Thai recipes while incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures for food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, recipe execution, and food safety protocols.
Manage inventory, control food costs, and ensure proper utilization of ingredients to minimize waste.
Collaborate with management to develop menus, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a Thai cuisine-focused restaurant.
Extensive knowledge of Thai culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
Creative flair for recipe development and menu innovation while respecting traditional Thai cuisine.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
Certification from a culinary institution or equivalent experience is preferred.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Thai language is a plus.
