Sealed Tenders addressed to Carson & CO Law Offices, 803 Main Street, P.O. Box 1600, Melfort, SK S0E1A0, and plainly marked on the envelope: FARMLAND / FUTURE URBAN DEVELOPMENT SALE TENDER, will be received until June 20, 2024 for:
SE ¼ 18-45-18 W2nd
160 Acres more or less consisting of 105 Acres Agriculture balance Yard Site, Hay Land and Creek Wasteland as per certificate of Land Title.
Land subject to cash lease for 2024 assumable by Purchaser.
City of Melfort has this zoned as Agriculture and /or Future Urban Development.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified cheque or bank draft, payable to Carson & Company Law Offices – In Trust, for 10 per cent (10%) of the submitted bids. Deposits will be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
Bidder is to familiarize themselves with the land prior to submitting a bid. Conditional and multiple bids will not be accepted. The highest or any bid not necessarily accepted.
The successful bidder will be responsible for any applicable GST.
The successful bidder must complete the final purchase and payment of balance by July 22, 2024.
Failure to enter into the sale agreement within the prescribed time will be deemed in default of the terms of the tender and the bid will be forfeited.
