Job Opportunity: Junior Carpenter

About Us:
Modus Ventures Corp. specializes in commercial building projects and is seeking experienced Junior Carpenters to join our dynamic team. We offer competitive wages, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install wood framing, metal siding, and doors
* Strip, clean, and organize building materials
* Perform dirt work & landscaping tasks, including hand excavation and snow removal
* Erect and dismantle light-duty scaffolding
* Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness, and site maintenance
* Clean site trailers, lunchrooms, and public areas
* Work safely around chemicals, cranes, and moving equipment

Work Schedule:
* 40-hour work week with overtime as required
* 4-day workweek: Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day

Qualifications:
* Previous carpentry experience in a related field
* Experience with metal siding is essential
* Physical fitness and good health
* Willingness to work outdoors in winter conditions
* Experience in wood framing and commercial construction
* Knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems is a plus
* Ability to operate heavy equipment
* Proficiency with hand and power tools
* Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds
* Team player with strong communication skills
* Ability to follow directions and work independently
* Hand and finger dexterity for handling materials
* Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds
