Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Estimator/Project Coordinator to join our team. Theideal candidate will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by accurately estimatingcosts, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of green roofing and landscape constructionprojects and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals. Responsibilities - Conduct thorough research (site visits, reading project documents, etc.), to assess projectrequirements and gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and other projectexpenses.- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to develop comprehensive project plansand timelines.- Coordinate project scheduling, resource allocation, and material procurement to ensure efficientproject execution.- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutionsto keep projects on track.- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to provideupdates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project files. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field preferred.- Proven experience in green roofing & landscape construction estimation and project coordination preferred.- Strong understanding of green roofing & landscape construction materials, techniques, and industry standards preferred.- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with clientsand team members.- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changingpriorities. - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits and project meetings.
