As we prepare for several summer events and activities, we are looking for passionate, driven, and community-oriented individuals to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and contribute to Tamil Community.


Positions Available & Expectations:

1.⁠ ⁠Event planner

Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure all deadlines are met.
Oversee event setup, breakdown, and on-site management to ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality events that exceed client expectations.

2.⁠ ⁠Digital Marketing Expert

Proficient in video editing and design software to create engaging marketing content.
Ability to strategize and execute marketing campaigns across various platforms.
Ability to support the organization in marketing and digital media channels.
Strong communication skills, with the creativity to market events effectively to diverse

3.⁠ ⁠Community Coordinator

Exceptional interpersonal skills to recruit, train, and motivate volunteers.
Organizational prowess to coordinate volunteer schedules and activities effectively.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all volunteers.
Fundraising skills are a must.
Having photography skills is an advantage.
Having a vehicle is a plus

Fluency in Tamil Language is a must.

Eligibility:

To be considered for these positions, applicants must:

· Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
· Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
· Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
