Position Number: 1
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (35 hr/week)
Monday -Friday, 9 am -5 pm, 12 pm -1 pm lunch break
Wage: Base (Cad $ 25 /hr) Overtime Pay
Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible
Language Requirement: English
Work Location: in- person , Lower Sackville ,NS office and nearby construction sites.

Job duties:
Oversee and Coordinate Office Administrative Procedures: Direct administrative procedures to support the dynamic needs of housing construction and development projects. Regularly assess and refine administrative processes to align with project timelines and regulatory requirements, ensuring seamless coordination between office and field operations.

Establish Work Priorities and Delegate Tasks: Set strategic priorities for office tasks, aligning them with project milestones and deadlines. Delegate responsibilities to office support staff based on their expertise and workload capacity, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely completion of administrative tasks.

Coordinate Office Services: Strategically plan and coordinate office services to meet the unique demands of housing construction projects. Manage accommodation arrangements for project teams and visiting stakeholders, oversee equipment procurement and maintenance, and ensure seamless supply chain management to support construction activities.

Conduct Analyses and Oversee Administrative Operations: Lead analytical efforts to assess budgeting, contracting, and project planning processes specific to housing construction and development. Oversee administrative operations to optimize resource allocation, mitigate project risks, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Assist in Preparation of Operating Budget and Maintain Inventory Controls: Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop operating budgets tailored to housing construction projects. Implement robust inventory controls to manage construction materials and equipment efficiently, minimizing waste and cost overruns.

Assemble Data and Prepare Reports: Collect and analyze project data to generate insightful reports that inform decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. Develop comprehensive manuals and correspondence to facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consistency in project documentation.

Experience:
- Experience as important asset
-Previous experience as senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration, is preferred



Education:
- Completion of secondary school
