Personal Support Attendant (Private Home Care) – St. John's, Newfoundland

Seeking a dependable individual to provide support to a female in her early 30's who has a physical disability. Female is a bright, easy-going individual looking for somebody to compliment her personality and help support her daily activities and independence.

Rate of Pay: $17.05/hr plus 4% vacation pay

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am – 10:00 am (15 hours per week)

Ability to work more hours occasionally (e.g., if another employee cannot make their shift)

Start date: As soon as possible.

Duties:
-Assistance preparing for the day
-Light personal care
-Meal preparation
-Household chores (e.g., laundry, cleaning)

Requirements:
-Can provide a clear criminal record check and references

-Experience is an asset; however, mainly looking for somebody who is reliable, compassionate, intuitive, easy-going and has a good work ethic.

Ideal Employees Will Be:
-Self-directed
-Can preform job duties with little or no direction/supervision
-Not allergic to cats (employer has one cat)
