Radiates a very even light at 4100k, Cool White temperature so colors look accurate. You can use with or without the light cover which offers some diffusion. The bulb costs only about $7 at Home Depot or Rona (probably lower elsewhere) and lasts a very long time. This one works great. And at just 15 watts it consumes so little electricity. It easily attaches to an overhang with the 2 screws (included). $15
