We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operators to join our team in Pickering.
As a Laborer and/or Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, clamp trucks, or other equipment
- Assist with order picking and packing
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Proficient in order picking and packing processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time
- Basic math skills for inventory management
Pay:*We do not have public transit nearby. Employees will need a reliable way to get to our location.*
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
