Marine Atlantic is currently looking for a Respectful Workplace Specialist to work with our Human Resources department. The successful candidate may choose to work from North Sydney, Port aux Basques, or St. John's.

The Human Resources Department is responsible for developing and implementing strategies in the areas of employee and leadership development, labour relations, diversity and inclusion, total compensation, employee development, and workforce and succession planning, all to foster strong employee engagement and support Marine Atlantic's corporate strategic objectives. It also ensures effective HR corporate processes including hiring, training, performance management, compensation, pension, benefits, and human resources policy.
Reporting to the Vice-President of Human Resources and working in collaboration with with Marine Atlantic's office of Corporate Counsel, the Respectful Workplace Specialist will serve as a key independent resource to lead and manage responsibilities associated with Marine Atlantic's Workplace Harassment and Violence Policy as well as other initiatives to prevent and/or resolve issues associated with discrimination and conflict in the workplace.
