Your search is over – an RPN with Home Care Assistance is the job for you! We are seeking an RPN to work in a LTC facility in Barrie. Must be available for bi-weekly weekend night shifts, 10pm-6am. Possibility to pick up extra evening and night shifts during the week. Job Benefits:Competitive pay at $35/hrBenefits Plan available after working 30 hours per week* 4% Vacation Pay on every payFlexible hours The successful candidate's areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:Overseeing the wellness of all the residentsConducting assessments and reassessmentsDeveloping, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assignedDirecting the wellness staff and ensuring their responsibilities are completed in an accurate and timely mannerProviding medication support and administrationResponding to all emergency situationsCompleting pertinent reports correctly and in keeping with assigned deadlinesEnsuring compliance of all applicable legislation, for example the Retirement Homes Act, 2010 and its regulationsMeeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all timesAll other duties, as assigned Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario Valid First Aid/CPR certificate Completion of Police Vulnerable Sector CheckSatisfactory professional referencesNursing experience in a long term care setting is requiredExperience using PCC (PointClickCare)Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to communicate to our senior residents, their families, colleagues, etc., in a friendly and professional mannerMust be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review.
