I have two Yamaha LS9 digital consoles for sale, a 16-channel and a 32.

These were the mainstay of my live sound business (mostly the 16-channel), but I recently switched to Allen & Heath SQ consoles, so these are looking for a new home. These were remarkably powerful consoles for their time, capable of 32 and 64 mix channels with another 8 channels for FX returns. To get the extra channels you can either add expansion cards or double-assign the on-board I/O, using two channels for FOH and monitors, for instance. All analog I/O is on balanced XLRs, except for the headphone jack, and both models include a digital SPDIF input and output.

If you're still operating in the analog world, these can replace your current console and racks of outboard gear. Every one of the 64 channels has a compressor/limiter and gate, variable high pass filter, and 4-band fully parametric EQ. Every output has 4-band PEQ, comp/limiter and delay available. The FX rack has 8 slots which can be populated with up to 16 1/3 octave graphic EQs and/or 4 Yamaha reverbs, delays, choruses, etc. These consoles have recently been discontinued by Yamaha, but firmware and other documentation is available at the Yamaha website.

Like most digital consoles, it has "layers" to control all the different functions it is capable of. Layer one is input channels 1-32, two is 33-64, three is the 16 buses and 8 matrices, and the fourth can be any combination of inputs and outputs you want it to be. It's also possible to control it wirelessly with an iPad, or over a network with a PC if you need to do that.

If you are a church or other local organization and would like some training for your volunteers, I can help out with that too. I recently powered both of these up to check them over, and all the faders are working fine, with no problems discovered.
