Position Title: Front Desk / Guests Service Agent
Location: 547 King St. N, Waterloo ON, N2L 5Z7
Schedule: Part Time / Full Time / Day Shifts / Afternoon Shifts / Night Shifts / Weekends and Holidays
Work Location: In Person
Pay: $16.55 / Hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Welcome and acknowledge guests upon arrival with a welcoming character and gestures.
• Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
• Secure payment; activate/reissue room keys. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Verify/adjust billing for guests.
• Answer phone calls, makes online or phone reservations as well as walk-in guests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and/or Front Desk Supervisor to track room status and guest concerns.
• File guest paperwork or documentation in an organized and orderly manner.
• Create and file incident reports, maintenance issues and report to necessary department.
• Maintain a neat and professional self presentation.
• Speak using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees.
• Comply with quality assurance standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisor and/or manager.
