We are a mature, working professional couple from Winnipeg. I am 60 and my wife is in her late 40's. We are VERY clean, quiet, respectful, trust worthy, non smokers, non drinkers. For many years we have been renting the same cottage in the Interlake for a couple of weeks every summer. That cottage belongs to a family friend that has decided to sell, and so we are looking around for a good arrangement for this summer and perhaps ongoing if there is interest.

As annual renters, we kept the cottage VERY clean and would always end our stay leaving the place gleaming and utterly intact. We look after other people's space and belongings with extreme care and respect. We would not be having any other guests over the course of our stay and so you could rest assured that access to your cottage would be exclusively to my wife and I alone.

While looking into cottage rentals, we noticed that many of the cottage rentals offer sleeping for 6,7,8 people. Although lovely places, they are probably more cottage than we really need – we would be more than comfortable with a place that is smaller or more modest.

In terms of rental duration, that too is quite flexible. We would consider availability for 1 week, 2 weeks, 2 weeks, or perhaps longer if we had the right fit – preference for minimum of two weeks.

Our needs are quite simple. We like to cook, read, walk, swim, and explore the area.

We appreciate solitude, peace and quiet, so would certainly consider something more remote as well.
