We are seeking 1 private ABA Therapist to provide in-home ABA therapy to a sweet boy with autism spectrum disorder in Orchard Community, Burlington, ON. Current programming includes behaviour reduction, functional communication, play skills, and early learner skills supervised by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).
15 hours per week in July and August, 3-hour afternoon session, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidates will possess:
- Availability to start by July 4th, 2024, ideally starting immediately
- Autism and Behaviour Science, Psychology, recreation therapy, music therapy or related education
- Experience with ABA and children with ASD
- Experience with data collection
- Candidates who are loving, energetic, and good at singing are preferred
The hired candidates will receive:
- $30-$35/hour commensurate with education and experience
- Training with current therapists and BCBA
- BCBA supervision hours if desired
