This mic just hasn't got the use I thought it would. I have a pair of C414EBs, and they always seem to get picked first. The C214 comes from the same "family" as the 414, it's just about 40 years newer. It is a large diaphragm, single pattern (cardioid) condenser, with pad (-20 dB) and bass roll-off switches for close-up applications.
Also included is the hard case that AKG included with the microphone, a foam windscreen, and an aftermarket shock mount.
Price is $400 for the complete kit (check L&M for the current new price). I might be interested in trades if you have something interesting. Ribbon mics are something I don't have any of in the collection, so let me know what you'd like to move.
