This is a package deal for someone who wants the vintage Harmony experience. The Bobcat has a DeArmond gold foil pickup which is a hot high output pickup and very well regarded by tone junkies. The guitar has the big baseball neck and the electronics function perfectly. The amp does have the two prong plug but this 303 model does have the isolation transformer. The amp does have the classic 60's hum but you can put a noise gate pedal on it and once you play it you can't hear the hum just the sweet sound of a classic tube amp breaking up as it should. These Harmony amps were built very similar to the original Fender Champs which no one can afford anymore. The 1963 dates are estimated but I think pretty close. No I'm not willing to separate this pair so please don't ask.
