QUALIFICATION FOR MAINTENANCE PERSON
• Ability to work independently and/or with others. (team player)
• Ability to operate various types of equipment tractor, mower, power hand tools, etc
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
NATURE AND SCOPE
To work closely with the team to provide general maintenance and ground keeping for the property all while ensuring the safety, functionally and overall well-being of our facilities and residents.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABLILTIES
1. Performs building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep duties as needed.
2. Assist in the inspection for the move out/in of the units and notify the team of any needed repairs.
3. Performs scheduled custodial duties, painting, power wash steps, & other projects as assigned.
4. Performs some of the ground keeping, like lawn care, tree trimming, and landscaping.
5. Contributes to preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment.
6. Periodic updating and upkeep of record/files of repairs required.
7. Follow-up on schedule repairs competed as needed.
8. Performs light maintenance (change light bulbs, set-up meeting room).
9. Collaborates with the members to best manage the repairs in a timely matter.
10. Some minor construction/repairs of garden boxes, and fences.
DIMENSIONS: Hourly Position
WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Effort: Require physical labor.
Physical Environment: Property Exterior & Interior of buildings.
WORK SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Steel toe or composite foot ware.
