CLASS 1A FLUID HAULERS
REPORTING TO THE FLUID OPERATIONS MANAGER, THE FLUID OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OPERATING & MAINTAINING POWER UNITS AND TRAILERS AND ALL OTHER VEHICLES IN THE FLEET. MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM BASIC MAINTENANCE ON POWER UNITS & TRAILERS.

THIS POSITION IS CONSIDERED A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
OUR GOAL IS TO EXCEED CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS BY PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUALITY KCL TO LOCATIONS.
GPE FLUIDS MANAGEMENT IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CLASS 1A DRIVERS TO HAUL KCL & WATER IN WEST CENTRAL SASKATCHEWAN AND EASTERN ALBERTA. ALL DRIVERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE & PROFFESSIONAL TRANSPORTATION OF ALL FLUID IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT, COMPANY AND CLIENT POLICIES, PROCEDURES & REGULATIONS.
THE DRIVER MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF A VALID CLASS 1A LICENSE WITH A CLEAN ABSTRACT.
GPE FLUIDS MANAGEMENT HAS AN EXTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM AND WILL PROVIDE ALL SAFETY TICKETS APPLICABLE TO OUR OPERATIONS.
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION (hours will vary according to drilling dates & completion dates)based out of Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
• Perform pre & post trip inspections
• Complete a pre & post trip and enroute inspections as well as associated paper work ie: logs
• Contact Dispatch to ensure clear directions
• Hook ups and deck offs the trailers
• Chain up the units if muddy or icy
• Operate Power Units with trailers competently and perform all basic maintenance and keeping
Power units & Trailers clean
• Must have good understanding of load securement
• Accessing and exiting the truck decks & trailers
• Ensure the safety of surrounding works
• Safely and efficiently load and chain down equipment when necessary
• Organize work on lease operations with guidance of Field Superintendents
• Organize loads
• Help to keep shops and yard clean
• Must put parts & tools away according to company policies
• Must be professional in communications with on site representatives
• Identify hazards
• Must be physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 80 LBS, Bending,
Standing, climbing repeatedly
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in all types of weather
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable & dependable
• Ensure the safe operations of the unit and equipment as per manufacture spec's & company
Requirements
• Must be able to perform basic maintenance: oil changes, greasing, washing of units & trailers
• Must be able to work alone and in team situations
• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be proficient or willing to learn logs
• Must follow all road signs, rules of the roads & company policy ie: slowing down for dust control, weather conditions & school buses
• MUST ENSURE WORKING SAFELY & FOLLOWING RULES & REGULATIONS AT ALL TIMES!!
