Do you want to participate in a study for methamphetamine use disorder in women? This study will investigate remotely-delivered Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to reduce methamphetamine use in women.
Who can participate?
• Over the age of 18
• Female, non-binary, or woman identifying comfortable in women's group
What you will be asked to do:
• Baseline screening questionnaires to assess substance use and mental health, urine collection at baseline, end of treatment, and follow-up.
1. ACT involves learning how to accept thoughts and feelings, commit to behaviour in line with your values, and act in line with your values
2. The ChillTime App gives you on-the-go access to mindfulness-based coping strategies that can be used when you're feeling overwhelmed
3. 1-on-1 session with the study therapist will help increase your motivation to finish the treatment
