A) Our client is looking for a 313A / G2 Gas Technician /Refrigeration and Air Conditioning System Mechanic (Steeles Ave W & McLaughlin Rd S)

Key Responsibilities:

Installation Proficiency: Expertly install various refrigeration and air conditioning systems, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to proper codes and standards.
Maintenance and Repair Mastery: Conduct regular maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and carry out repairs with precision, minimizing downtime and extending equipment lifespan.
Requirements:

● Valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license and G2 Gas Technician license.

● Proven experience in refrigeration and AC system repairs and installations.

● Strong understanding of current HVAC codes and safety standards.

B) 313D / G2 License Residential Air Conditioning System Mechanic
Compensation to be determined, commensurate with experience. This is an onsite role from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Specialized Installations: Perform installations of residential air conditioning systems, ensuring each project meets high-efficiency standards and complies with all relevant codes.
Diagnostic Expertise: Quickly identify system issues and apply your knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve them, securing optimal system functionality.
Requirements:

● Valid 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license and G2 License.

● Demonstrated skill in the repair and installation of residential AC systems.

● In-depth knowledge of HVAC standards and residential service requirements.

● A strong sense of responsibility and the capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.

C) Spreader Operator
The Spreader Operator plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that spreading machines function optimally and efficiently. Their precision and diligence directly contribute to the smooth running of our production process and the maintenance of our high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervised asphalt crews performing tasks like raking, smoothing, and tamping hot asphalt materials.
Managed winter crews filling potholes and repairing streets using cold patch asphalt.
Oversaw equipment operators running machines such as grinders and pavers.
Assigned daily work and guided crews on work procedures and techniques.
Coordinated asphalt deliveries from plants to work sites.
Monitored material supplies and requested additional materials as needed.
Documented completed jobs and equipment usage on activity sheets.
Informed supervisors of issues at work sites and ensured safety compliance.
Facilitated training for new crew members and provided ongoing support and guidance.
Conducted regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Communicated with clients to address any concerns or questions about the project.
Ensured compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualification and Skills

3 years of experience in asphalt repair and paving, including use of safety equipment and knowledge of OSHA standards.
Valid driver's license required for this role.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, and hazardous situations are common in this line of work.
Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move rapidly.
Familiarity with geographical locations within the City is helpful in this role.
Strong skills in active listening, critical thinking, time management, coordination with others, instructing, judgment and decision making, and equipment selection are desired for successful performance in this position.
Must be able to comprehend oral and written information and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
Effective leadership skills, cooperative attitude, dependability, excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as working well with numbers are all important qualities for this job.
