We are currently hiring for a Part time In-Home Behavioural Aide for children or youth with developmental disabilities at KCC. The position is located in Lethbridge, Alberta but the applicant must be willing to possibly drive up to one hour out of town with their own personal vehicle. Travel is paid hourly and per kilometer. An ideal applicant is required to have evening availability for our afterschool clients. We offer competitive wages and benefits packages for eligible employees.

Duties will include, but not be limited to, building rapport with clients/families, in-home sessions, tracking data, entering hours on database, implementing goals set out by clinical team, attending informative monthly aide meetings, liaising with our multidisciplinary team (clinicians) and seeking collaboration as required. By utilizing age-appropriate activities and games, this role supports the clients by teaching daily living, self-help and regulation goals. KCC offers a strong level of support and training to ensure that candidates will feel successful and confident in this position.

Additional requirements include:
• Criminal Record Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment
• Child Intervention Check from Southwest Alberta Child and Family
Services
• Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle
• Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and/or
developmental disabilities is an asset, but not required.
• Supporting Individuals with Valued Attachments (SIVA) training is an
asset, but not required.
