DC Staffing Solutions is seeking for Forklift Operator for one of our potential client located in Hamilton, ON

Responsibilities:

Operate Counterbalance forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, skids, or vehicles using Crown Reach forklift
Perform routine maintenance on Crown Reach forklift, such as monitoring fluid levels and refueling gas, diesel, or electric power unit
Inspect Crown Reach forklift before each use to ensure it is in good working order
Follow safety regulations, including wearing protective clothing and using safety equipment as required
Communicate with supervisors and other personnel to report or resolve any problems affecting warehouse or production operations
Keep records of completed work, including location of materials and any issues that arise during the shift
Assist with other tasks as needed, such as packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment
Requirements:

Valid certification as a Crown Reach Forklift Operator
Minimum of 4 year experience operating a Crown Reach Forklift
Proficient in using hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems
Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds
Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations for operating a Crown Reach Forklift
Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
