Our family requires dedicated and conscientious caregiver to work with our two disabled adult sons in a private home setting within the city of Lethbridge. We are seeking a caring and compassionate individuals who enjoy interacting with disabled persons and assisting them with their daily living activities and outings into the community. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our sons with high quality care and support. The successful candidates will be self-motivated, well-organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities & Duties

-Assist with personal care, including dressing, mobility, administering medication, personal hygiene, eating etc…
-Administration of medications (oral) and performing G-tube feeding and care.
-Assist with physical therapy exercises and stretches as needed
-Perform light housekeeping tasks, such changing bed linens and laundry.
-Assist in safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement.
-Accompany and transport our sons to activities, and outings as needed. (Vehicle provided)
-Observe and monitor physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes.
-Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.


Qualifications and Skills

-Non-GDL Class 5 driver's license with clean driving record.
-High School Diploma
-Physically able to do patient lifts and transitions.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Fluency in English

-Full Training is provided
-we are seeking applicants for a permanent full-time day shift Mon-Fri position (40 hrs/week) as well as a part time evening/weekend position.
