Technical Sales Representative - Precast Concrete and Aggregate Sales

Lock-Block Ltd. and Green-StoneTM Materials, Richmond, BC

Full-Time, Permanent, 40 Hours per week, NOT hybrid.

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 based on the experience; plus commission

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.

Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, addressing their inquiries and offering solutions that align with their project requirements.

Collaborate with the sales, accounting, production, dispatch, and scalehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products, and payments.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential areas for growth.

Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our products and expand your professional network.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather customer feedback and contribute to product improvement and innovation initiatives.

Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights using CRM software.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the precast concrete and aggregate industry.

Strong technical understanding of precast concrete products, aggregates, and their applications.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to establish rapport with diverse clients and stakeholders.

Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Proficiency in using Salesforce, QuickBooks Online, and MS Office suite.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Successful completion of theoretical and practical (in the field) training modules (will be provided by the company).
