Job Overview
The Tent Crew members are a team of people that will work together to setup and tear down event/wedding tents. Success in this position needs a strong attention to details, excellent customer service & communication skills. We are excited to hire people to join our awesome team that knows when to get the job done, done well and have an enjoyable time with our team doing it!

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cleaning of tables, chairs and tents as necessary
- Setup & tear down of tents, tables, chairs, and other equipment as required.
-Loading and unload company vehicles with equipment for each event
Qualifications
- High school or Post-Secondary
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work as a team
- Good customer service abilities. Must be able to communicate with clients in a respectful manner and make the client always feel welcome
- Able to read and communicate effectively in English
- Valid Driver's License and clean drivers abstract
- Able to work on their feet for the duration of the day
- Needs to be physically fit to be able to lift & carry a minimum 50lbs for inventory management, truck loading/unloading and community event set ups
- Able to work in various weather conditions indoors and outdoors (rain, snow, heat and cold)
- Professionalism Expectations – Must be able to maintain professional manner while on the job. Follow all company policies (Health, harassment, safety, etc.) to maintain mutual respect between colleagues.
- Professionalism Expectations – Must be able to self-accountable and timely. It is important that any candidate for any position at Flatland Production Services Inc. carries themselves with the willingness to own their mistakes in a timely manner, know when to ask for assistance in said mistake and learn from mistake to move forward.
- Professionalism Expectations – MUST be reliable. Arrive for shift and ready to work on time. In the rare occasion arriving to work on time is not possible, all measures of communicating with your manager must be extended as soon as employee is aware this situation is happening so we can situate the crew.

NOT REQUIRED BUT CONSIDERED AN AWESOME ASSET:
- Knowledge of how to set up & tear down event tents
- Comfortable driving 1 ton Cube van
- Work Schedule may vary, must be available to work Thursday through Monday 7am-9pm


-Weekend Work Available
- Part time and or Casual Hours available
- Start Dates as early as May 2024
