Own a piece of Canadian bicycling history and beat the prices at the gas pump as well. This bike was built in Raleigh's Canadian factory at Waterloo, Quebec.
I have totally refurbished this “Navy Blue” beauty. Check out the pics for views of the finished bike.
Here's what was done to make this quality bike fun and smooth running:

Installed new gumwall tires
Installed new brake cables front and rear
Installed new steering bearings top and bottom
Cleaned and relubed the crank bearings
Cleaned and relubed the wheel bearings front and rear
Dismantled, cleaned and relubed the 3 speed gear system
Cleaned and relubed the drive chain
Sanded and painted the front and rear fenders
Installed a Vetta rear parcel rack (made in Italy)
Installed a basket on the rear rack
Installed a period-correct bell
Installed a much more comfortable saddle than what was on the bike originally
Gave everything else a thorough cleaning and polishing

This bike rides, shifts and brakes like new. The rear basket will allow you to carry
your favourite beverage back from the store without the danger of having a bag hanging on the handlebars or in a backpack. Frame size is 19 inches/~50 cm.
This bike has a 30 day no-charge guarantee for minor adjustments.
However, tire punctures are NOT covered in the guarantee.

I'm asking $229 because this is such a fun bike to ride and is now in excellent mechanical condition. Price is firm-ish but I will consider all offers.
