WANTED: Heavy Duty Mechanic
Diamond Dust Acres, near Enchant, AB, is looking to hire 1 Mechanic. Position is permanent full-time, ineligible for over-time, 6 month probationary period, Monday to Friday and Saturdays during high season, minimum 40 hours per week and up to 72 hours per week during high season.
Duties: may include but are not limited to:
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy duty trucks and equipment.
• Perform heavy duty truck inspections.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on heavy duty trucks.
• Source parts when required.
• Operating trucks and equipment will be required.
Candidate required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
• Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License, Class 3 or 1 is an asset.
• CVIP License is an asset.
• Farming experience is an asset.
• GPS experience is an asset.
• Experience in Ag Equipment will be an asset.
• Knowledge / experience with 2003-2012 Dodge Diesels will be an asset.
• Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
• able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have your own basic tools (list can be provided on minimum tools required).
• Must be positive, self-motivated individual and be part of a dynamic and growing team.

Wage: Minimum $28/hour plus bonus. Wage can increase depending on experience.
Vacation available up to 60 days per year if desired during non-critical times
Local housing available for discounted rent if needed.

Who We Are: Diamond Dust Acres is located near Enchant, Alberta. Our family has been farming here since 1967. We rotate growing wheat, canola, sugar beets, potatoes, and beans. We also offer pollination services with our leafcutter bees. Come join our growing dynamic team!
