Are you interested in working with horses? We have a position open in our Standardbred Harness Horse barn for a responsible individual who cares about animals. Duties include feeding and grooming horses, cleaning stalls, and assisting the trainer. No experience is necessary, training provided. This position could work into learning to train/drive horses yourself, if that is something you aspire to do. We need someone who is comfortable around horses, has reliable transportation, is dependable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment. TEAM HAINING works 6 days per week, and you are paid weekly. This is a contract job, NOT an hourly job. Day starts at 7am and ends when the work is done. Generally, weekdays end at approx. 2pm, often earlier if we get at it. The days we are racing, are longer, can be 12 hours. Currently, we take Sunday's off may change to Monday's off after May 1st. Located at The Track on 2 - Lacombe.
