The successful candidates will be able to generate mortgage business & act as an intermediary between lending institutions & prospective homeowners/ investors. You must have excellent marketing/communication skills and are excited to evaluate home buyers' financial & employment information while partnering with them to assist them in the process of obtaining a mortgage.

You will work under the mentorship of a team lead & will be expected to:
• Solicit & generate business to develop your database of clients seeking mortgages.
• Become an expert in mortgage lead generation strategies.
• Develop knowledge of lender products, underwriting criteria, and how to read credit reports.
• Gather & manage confidential documents including credit reports & employment verifications.
• Advise clients on options & clearly explain the commitment details.
• Compare & discuss interest rates, lender fees, and closing costs to help the borrowers decide their best options.
• Ensure that loans & disclosures are compliant with all relevant regulations & laws
• Coordinate all relevant paperwork between lenders & borrowers.
• Be comfortable in explaining the mortgage process to clients in a simple & easy to understand manner.
• Act with integrity & secure client's credit reports & personal info & documents.
• Be technically savvy & easy to train for utilizing mortgage software.
What you bring to the table:
• Have completed the mortgage agent certification program.
• MIN. OF 1-2 YEAR year experience as a mortgage agent required OR background in banking, marketing or sales.
• Must be able to acquire mortgage clients using networking & marketing techniques.
• Must have closed a minimum of 5 deals at your current brokerage.
• No history of termination or license expiry.
• Ability to learn quickly & invest in your future with consistent efforts. Bonus Assets:
