Start Date: ASAP / End of April 2024   

Pay Rate: 70$ - 82$ INCORPORATED / hourly. HST (Depending on years' of experience and skillset)

 
Job Description:
 
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer (Workday) with below skillsets:  

Must Have:
1. Must be Workday Certified
2. Workday Functional (Core HCM, Payroll Interface)
3. Workday Integration (Connector, EIB, Workday Studio, Reporting and calculated fields, Webservices, XML)



Responsibilities
• Provide Level Application Support for HR Applications
• Responsible for the day-to-day tasks of resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, submitting change request, and performing support related tasks for HR Applications including but not limited to Workday Payroll integrations, Workday Studio, Payroll Administration, Organization Management, Benefits Management, Payroll and Time Management
• Impact analysis of the upcoming changes that may have impact in production.
• Provide Technical Support/SME support to the team.
• Communicates and updates status reports as required; ensures completeness of status reporting in service management tool and status reports.
• Provide root cause analysis on the issues. Submits the RCA documentation during or immediately after the issue has been resolved and give the business impact related to the issue.
• Comply to quality and operational processes.
• Identify and manage issues and risks on the RAID log and escalate where required.
• Ensures that client and organization Leadership are kept informed of any issues.

Experience:
• Core hands-on HR experience on Payroll Administration, Organization Management, Benefits Management, Payroll and Time Management.
• Workday Functional (Core HCM, Payroll Interface, Compensation, Finance)
• Workday Integration (Connector, EIB, Workday Studio, Reporting and calculated fields, Webservices, XML)

The following are the different levels of support required:

a. Level 0
Eyes on glass service to monitor applications in an automated manner including, but not limited to, real time monitoring, alert handling, incident identification, preventive action, 24/7 availability, dashboard utilization, and escalation procedures. The primary goal of this level is to detect and address issues as soon as they arise, minimizing any impact and ensuring the reliability of the supported apps and related infrastructure.

b. Level 1
Addressing incidents and requests based on documented playbook. Includes, but not limited to, support involving initial issue triage, user account management, and providing general information. Issues are typically resolved at this level or escalated if necessary.

c. Level 2
Addressing incidents and requests beyond the documented playbook. Includes, but not limited to in-depth technical support handling more complex issues that require specialized knowledge. Resolves escalated incidents from Level 1 or addresses issues that require specific expertise.

d. Level 3
Light enhancements and development work. Includes, but not limited to, advanced support for highly technical issues that often involve system architecture, infrastructure, or software development. This level provides specialized, in-depth troubleshooting and solutions.              

Working Hours:  8:00am to 5:00 pm
