Located in a historic Victorian Century home, Kensington Studios offers a unique open-concept venue perfect for any occasion. With a 400 sq ft front yard, over 2000 sq ft of indoor space, and a 700 sq ft back yard, our venue provides the ideal backdrop for your event.

The main floor features two distinct rooms - the Light Room and the Dark Room. The Light Room boasts 10-foot high ceilings, bay windows facing Kensington Ave, and a built-in bar complete with all the amenities you need. Meanwhile, the Dark Room offers state-of-the-art speaker and lighting systems, perfect for parties, presentations, live music, and live performances.

️ The basement is equipped with 2 washrooms, a lounge or green room, customizable RGB lighting, and a LED cloud ceiling - providing a comfortable and stylish space for your guests.

❄️ Heating and cooling are available year-round, ensuring your event is comfortable in any season.

Looking for additional services? We offer camera equipment rentals, A/V technicians, and event tapings at an additional cost.

With 2 parking spots available onsite and free street parking nearby, transportation is convenient for you and your guests. We are also easily accessible through TTC, with the Spadina, College, and Dundas streetcars nearby for your guests.

Furniture included as an option with the booking includes folding tables, bar stools, director chairs, armchairs, stools, and a portable bar table. Additional furniture can be rented from an external company.

Our venue is perfect for events such as birthdays, graduations, photo and video shoots, concerts, private functions, pop-up stores, weddings, presentations, workshops, and more!

✨ Please note: For larger parties, security personnel may be required, and a Special Occasions Permit (SOP) is necessary for events with alcohol. Rates for open bar may apply.
