This bed has headboard, footboard, side boards and a bottom but no mattress
I took a futon mattress and cut it to fit, a large crib mattress will also do the trick
This bed has been well loved and has some minor dents, small crack in one leg, crayon on one side, all shown in the photos
It has a lot of character and looks beautiful
