Seeking a qualified excavator and dozer operator with the ability to problem solve & work in a professional manner with colleagues and clients. The excavator operator must have the following experience and capabilities:
• Minimum 5 years equipment operating heavy equipment experience, experience operating a mulcher would be considered an asset.
• Must have experience excavate basement foundations, installing service laterals from property line to house, building driveways, grubbing lots, sloping and banking, slope grooming, sub-grade excavation, trenching, loading trucks and complete final grades around houses with minimal supervision.
• Maintaining equipment - responsible for pre-operational checks on equipment, daily machine maintenance keeping the equipment clean, leak free, greased and perform preventative maintenance program for servicing.
• Ability to meet production targets.
• Valid driving license, First Aid, WHIMIS, reliable transportation and clean drivers abstract.
• Note the job can be physically demanding in a face paced environment.
