HCA - Job description

• Health Care Aide Certification – Accredited School or College in Canada - MANDITORY!
• High School Diploma – Grade 12
• Current CPR and First Aide Certification – registry valid
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search – valid in the last 3 months
• Current Adult Abuse Registry Check - valid in the last 3 months
• Current Child Abuse Registry Check - valid in the last 3 months
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar position
• Permanent Resident of Canada
• Ability to deal effectively with agitated client.
• General Skills and the ability to perform all tasks and responsibilities relevant to the duties of the position and/or client.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
• Ability to communicate verbal and written in English.
• Ability to respond to variety of simultaneous demands.
• Standing for periods of time.
• PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA
Position/Hours Description
• Monday - Thursday: 7 am – 9 am & 3 pm - 5 pm (Paid for 3.0 hours per shift)
• Friday: 7 am - 9 am (Paid for 3.0)
• Summer Break: Up to 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday)
