Mastery in preparing a wide array of tandoori dishes, including but not limited to Roti, Naan, Chicken Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Achari Tikka, and Chicken Tandoori.
Contribute to menu development with innovative tandoori dishes and ensure all dishes meet our high-quality standards.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations at all times.
Lead and mentor kitchen staff in tandoori cooking techniques and best practices.
Manage inventory and procure supplies while keeping wastage to a minimum.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient preparation and service of dishes.
Uphold and enhance the restaurant's standards for food quality and presentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
Willing to take and learn to craft dosas and other tawa items
Foster a positive relationship with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Work alongside the management team to meet and exceed business objectives.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience as a Tandoor Chef, with a strong portfolio in Indian tandoori cuisine as we are not looking to train
Deep understanding of various tandoori cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Stamina and resilience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Leadership qualities with a focus on training and motivating kitchen staff.
Exceptional communication skills, allowing for effective teamwork and guest interaction.
Creativity and passion for crafting authentic and innovative Indian dishes.
