Two (2) openings for temporary part-time SEASONAL Campground Attendant/Park Maintenance
SCHEDULE:
• Part-Time:
- Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm – June 1st through September 3rd
- Wednesday to Sunday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm - June 1st through September 3rd

JOB DUTIES:
• Use the Campgrounds database/booking system, and cell phone, for reservations and taking new bookings
• Greet guests and assist with reservations
• Handle customer service questions and enquires
• Foster excellent visitor experiences through positive interactions with guests
• Ensure campground rules and regulations are being adhered to
• Secure facilities at the close of shift
• Manage firewood deliveries to campsites
• Custodial duties: including cleaning of toilets, sinks, showers/shower curtains, floors, walls, restocking supplies as needed
• Garbage and recycling disposal and sorting
• Operate campground Gator to perform certain campground duties
• General labour and cleanup of campground roads, pathways, sites, and firepits

REQUIREMENTS:
• Be safety conscious and demonstrate a high level of attentiveness to your safety as well as that of co-workers and the public
• Ability to work independently and/or as a contributing member of the campground team
• Ability to respond accurately, clearly, and courteously to inquiries from campground guests
• Ability to identify problems, consider various options, and determine an appropriate course of action
• Physically perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, or moving supplies and equipment such as picnic tables, cleaning supplies, garbage, and recycling
• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
• Be able to perform physical work and work outdoors under various weather conditions
• Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Experience in parks maintenance, general labour, equipment operation, or construction is preferred

RATE OF PAY:
• Probationary Rate: $15.00/hour
• Seasonal Bonus: A bonus of $2.00/hr worked, payable upon successful completion of the entire work term
