We (Habermehl Contracting Ltd.) are looking to add an experienced lead carpenter to our team. The lead
carpenter will be skilled in the overall carpentry role (framing, renovations, trim, decking, etc.) and able to
provide guidance and supervision to construction field staff. In this role, the lead carpenter will read and
interrupt building plans; assign and explain tasks; plan for future activities; and review/inspect work done
by project team members.

Habermehl is a leading design, build, and renovation company with over 55 years in residential and
commercial renovations and custom home builds. We also specialize in accessibility consulting and
construction work for institutional and commercial spaces. Our company is a Rely Contractor for Intact
Insurance.

The ideal candidate would have:

5 years of carpentry experience
2 years in a lead carpenter role
Ability to read construction plans and drawings
Prepare material lists/resources for upcoming activities
Ability to lead construction field staff effectively
Red Seal or other formal training is preferred
Good communication and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
