Reporting to the CEO, the Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of purchasing and marketing programs for meat categories. ensuring that activities are aligned with maximizing sales and margins,

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Food Buying Procurement Team, focusing on the meat categories, to ensure the Merchandising Programs meet retail and franchisee needs.
• Manage the entire procurement process, including communication and follow-up with local and overseas vendors of the assigned meat category.
• Foster supplier relationships to secure the best product selection, pricing, and value.
• Coordinate with internal departments and various stores on promotional campaigns, marketing materials, project timelines, and follow-up actions related to product launches.
• Generate periodic and ad hoc reports promptly and accurately, covering store sales, inventory, category performance, and special events.
• Address and resolve issues with orders, shipments, and customer inquiries promptly.
• Undertake other duties as necessary for the role's success.

Qualifications:
• A university degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience in the retail industry, with a significant focus on meat categories, such as poultry, beef, or pork.
• Experience in handling North American suppliers is a must.
• Strong knowledge, passion, and awareness of Asian food products preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
