The scope of this role is to perform all necessary duties as noted below to insure that the Branch Processing Plant runs at optimum efficiency to support the customer requirements. This role will also include but not limited to fleet maintenance on a daily basis to insure customer satisfaction. Location: The role will be located out of the Blagdon Plant 66 Eagle Rock Road, but based upon the needs of the business could take the selected candidate to the other plants under the Blagdon responsibility.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have safety as his first priority

Can work under pressure
Hours are dependent on the needs of the business so the individual must be flexible - early morning hours and late evenings
Responsible for morning start-up
Work in a team environment and identify the critical elements of the role
Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of Plant repair
Plan and Schedule Maintenance Shut-downs
Remove, cleans, repairs, reinstalls and adjusts all Plant components
Properly uses and legibly completes inspections reports for Plant assets
Fully aware of limitations and calls upon additional resources when required
Safely uses all power and hand-held mechanic's tools
Flexible to respond to all assigned requests plant repairs
Maintains shop and office area in a safe and clean manner
Evaluates completed work and conducts final inspection of equipment prior to release back into service
Responsible to alert Management if company assets are being abused or not maintained at a level expected of a professional operator
Responsible to manage the maintenance module
Adds lubricants and other fluids to all Plant assets as required.
Performs daily inspections
Responsible for Inventory of stock parts
Insure all personnel that are on-site conform to the Quality Concrete H&S Policy
Report any unsafe site conditions to the Site Superintendent / Plant Manager
Assets:

Welder / Fabricator
Industrial Mechanic Experience
Conveyor Experience
Hydraulics troubleshooting experience
Electrical troubleshooting experience
Experience in Plant Maintenance Systems and reporting
Above average mechanical aptitude
Eye for perfection
