Responsibilities:

Deploy and configure the Deltares FEWS platform according to project requirements and specifications.
Develop custom water system modelling engines using Python, C#, or Java to simulate complex water systems.
Integrate water models into the FEWS platform, including FEWS modifiers, external data sources, and weather providers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for FEWS platform-related issues.
Stay updated on the latest developments in water system modelling technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in deploying and configuring the Deltares FEWS platform.
In-depth knowledge of various FEWS web services.
Experience in developing custom water system modelling engines using Python, C#, or Java.
Familiarity with water modelling concepts such as hydrology, hydraulics, and water quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in water system modeling and simulation.
Demonstrated experience in developing and integrating water models into the FEWS platform.
Prior experience with Python, C#, or Java programming for modeling and simulation.
Experience with FEWS modifiers, external data sources, and weather providers is a plus.
