Up for sale is a Jackson KE3 electric guitar with a moulded Jackson hard-shell case. I think it is from 1998. I picked up this guitar with a fracture in the headstock. I was able to open the fracture enough to get lots of Titebond glue deep in there and clamped everything up. It is completely stable now and barely noticeable. While I had it completely apart, I went over the whole guitar, tightened everything up, cleaned the pots and switches, cleaned up the fret ends, recrowned and polished the frets, set up the action and the intonation so that it plays effortlessly and stays in tune well. I installed 9-42 gauge strings with nice , low action (70 thou on the bass, 55 thou on the treble). I also set up the Floyd Rose tremolo properly so you can dive bomb to your heart's content. The guitar does have some bumps and bruises, but the neck is untouched. This guitar sold for $850 at L&M back in 2010. You can still buy the case new today for $350. I am open to trades or trade-ins of other guitars (acoustic or electric) even ones needing repair. Thank you for your interest.
