Featuring a film screening of first-hand accounts of patients who have experienced incredible healing because of psychedelic therapy

The dialogue will address questions such as:

* How do psychedelics stimulate deep personal growth?
* What can psychedelic experience teach mental health practitioners, and non-clinicians, seeking healing and growth?
* How does psychedelic therapy use our ‘inner healing intelligence'?
* What are the promises and perils of this new group of treatments?

Panelists:
Jeffrey Guss, M.D. is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, researcher, and teacher with an interest in the integration of psychoanalytic therapy and psychedelic therapy. He is on the faculty of the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine
He maintains a private practice in New York City.

Lawrence Fischman, M.D., is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who practiced in New York and Maine for many years. In addition to his full-time private practice, he was a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center and later at the Tufts University School of Medicine's Maine Medical Center Program, where he also serves on the Admissions subcommittee.

Gurmeet S. Kanwal, M.D., is Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and Supervising Psychoanalyst at the William Alanson White Institute. He is a past President of the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Society and Editorial Board Member and Fellow of the College of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis.
