This is a brand new sock, we got it for our son due to him getting sick and having breathing issues and we really wanted to keep an eye on him. We used this sock during the day & you can use this sock at night as well. You can put a normal sock over top of the sock to make it more comfy and not noticable if you don't want it to be seen. It has good range 30feet it worked through my whole 2 bedroom apartment. Clean, works perfectly and actually is accurate to my acknowledge from being In the hospital with my son and seeing his levels to putting it on. This sock is usually pretty expensive.
