Description
Irrigation/ Dry land operation located in Bow Island, Alberta looking for a hardworking farm labourer with previous farm equipment experience for full time year round employment. Applicant must have experience with operating farm equipment, class 1, general labour and maintenance.
Monday- Saturdays during high season, minimum 40 hours per week and up to 72 hours per week during high season.

Duties: will include but are not limited to:
· Operating farm equipment including: sprayers, semi's, super B's and end dumps
·Cleaning bins
·Shipping grain
· Operating GPS-enabled equipment
· Performing equipment maintenance and repair
· Ensuring all operations are performed safely
· Operating Class 3 type vehicles with air brakes
· Operating Class 1 type vehicles
· Repair & maintenance of equipment

Candidate required Skills & Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of farm related experience.
· Must have a Class 1 license.
· Must have commercial and/or agriculture driving experience
· Must be fluent in English (oral and written)
· Able to lift up to 50 lbs
·Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with tight deadlines and varying weather conditions
· Must be positive, self-motivated individual
· Be respectful, courteous, honest, hardworking, and safety-minded
· Be able to work in groups and individually unsupervised
· Basic computer skills (running GPS units)
