Our Doors

-Our doors are the most stylish. From traditional up to fully custom. We have over 24 panel designs, 22 window designs, 12 colors options, plus custom painting, decorative hardware etc. We don't just have a door for your home we have the RIGHT door for your home.

-Our Doors are built tough (No cheap vinyl/fiberglass etc), with steel skins inside and out, heavy duty springs, heavy gauge cables, bearings, operator plates, and up to a 2" thick R19 Polyurethane insulation. No pressed paper "insulation" or cardboard backing here! Our doors are built to last a lifetime!

-We source nearly all our product though Canadian dealers, manufacturers, or distributors, and only sell products designed for our unique Manitoba Climate.

-Higher R-Values standard. We don't believe the bare minimum is acceptable for our climate, and temperature range. Even our non-insulated doors come with a full perimeter weather-stripping kit to seal out the elements, and our insulated doors are built with steel skins inside and out.

– Our doors are greener. Our doors are CFC and HCFC free and pose no risk to the ozone layer or climate change. Also, many are shipping manufacturer direct, saving travel and fuel.

– We keep many doors and sizes in stock, unusual sizes included. If your job requires something more unique, we can also custom make, and quick order to your site-specific requirements.

This laudatory e-mail is a little late but I wanted to be sure to let you know how pleased we were with every aspect of the process of getting a new garage door. In particular, we were so impressed with the service we got from Ben Kreviazuk. Our garage door stopped working on February 1st and we called the previous company who had installed the original garage door when our house was built in 2003. They called back the next day and someone came out 2 days later. He said that something needed to be ordered (I can't recall what) and when we hadn't heard back 2 days later (now February 6th) we called them only to find out it had yet to be ordered. I told them to forget it, called Manitoba Garage Doors Ltd. although it was very late in the day, explained the situation, and was told that someone would be out the next day. (He also apologized because they were unable to send someone that day.) Enter Ben K. who was personable, assessed the situation, explained exactly what the problem was to us as well as explaining what would need to be done. We told him to go ahead and do it. He did and stayed to make sure that everything was working well. He clearly knew what he was doing, did it efficiently and was a real pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. I cannot recall if the quote was actually less than the quote from the other company but I know for sure that it was no more. Prior to getting the new door when about to enter the garage or just having driven out of it we had to be very careful about the car's position in order to use the remote. Often I had to get out of the car to close the door. That is a thing of the past; the remote works well as does the door. Great friendly service! I used them for 2 opener installs. Just wanted to thank Josh and Ben for the fantastic service!
At the start of winter cold snap is always when things go wrong and at my house it's no different. My old garage door came apart as it was opening up one night over a freezing cold weekend and was a complete mess. Monday morning I called Manitoba garage doors and spoke with Josh who, based on my house location was not only able to tell me the size of the door but provide a great quote over the phone. The door was ordered (after site check) and was ready to be installed on January 31st , which was one of the coldest days so far. I thought for sure they would reschedule for a warmer day and would not have blamed them if they did, it was -42 and then some. The technician Ben arrived bright and early and installed the door with no complaints, even when his tool batteries kept freezing on him. He did a great job explaining everything and hauled my old door away. The quote Josh had provided was what I paid and not a penny more, unlike other companies who seem to always come up with unforeseen costs.
